About A Bark in the Park Dog Playgroups

A Bark in the Park is run by the husband and wife team of Susie and John Duff.

From a very young age when she brought home worms for pets (her mother said she could keep them as long as she found a good place for them to live, so she put them back where she found them), Susie has always loved animals. She's had the typical childhood pets: guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, cat, turtles.

As soon as she lived in a house, she got her first dog and it's been love ever since. Now she and her husband have two dogs, an albino ring necked dove, and a menagerie of pet rats (incredibly intelligent and people-oriented animals—great for children).

Susie has been a professional dog walker since 2006 and she can't believe people pay her to do what she loves.

In 2010 her husband, John, came on board. John grew up being the 'puppy' of the family golden retriever, Bonnie. Since then, he has always had dogs. If there's a group photo it is always easy to pick out John— he's the one with a dog looking at him attentively.

Together Susie and John will take the best care of your loved one.
